Adobe recently pointed out features that may be coming in Photoshop, that can be returned to the process of blurring the image.
Image blur is something that we generally have learned to live by: If you mess up a shot early on, there are several ways to improve the quality of the image. Often You can only hope that the resolution is high enough and the final image size that is required is low enough so that you can minimize the effect of blurring the image resizing and sharpening. The result is, in the best case, some form of compromise.
However, Adobe has recently demonstrated the ability to de-blurring for Photoshop, which looks interesting at first and then common sense when you follow the presentation. It is one example of when you understand why multi-core computers more capable and you appreciate your investment in a system. Adobe does not provide many details and technology is still in development, but it seems to be based on image analysis that attempts to trace the path of motion of the camera when the picture is blurred. The software instead of following the path to the original image can be taken and, apparently, produce a sharp image.
